Blue Ridge Harbor Ministries began with a desire to create a welcoming café and gathering space where people could connect and feel known. Through prayer and discernment, the vision became clearer.
What began as a dream of hospitality grew into a focused calling: to strengthen and restore families impacted by foster care in our region.
The heart has remained the same — to create a safe harbor. The mission simply became more defined.
Today, we are building that vision carefully and prayerfully, trusting God to guide each step.
Our Mission
Blue Ridge Harbor Ministries exists to create a safe harbor of restoration, belonging, and practical support for vulnerable individuals and families impacted by foster care in the Blue Ridge region.
Through Christ-centered mentorship, family support, and collaborative partnerships, we seek to promote stability, accountability, and long-term success.
Where We Are Now
Right now, we’re building the foundation.
We’re putting strong leadership in place, securing sustainable support, shaping our programs with care, and building trusted community relationships.
We’re not rushing this — because we want what we build to last.
When we begin serving families in a bigger way, we want to be ready.
